About Grafton Aero Club
The club has existed in some form since 1930 with a short break during WWII.
Barbecues and social events are held from time to time and all members are notified of these. Club flying weekends away are also organised from time to time. We also celebrate Christmas with a party with invited guests sometimes incorporating other organisations such as the Seaplane Pilots Association and on Australia day we fly to Palmers Island for a morning tea and back to South Grafton for Lunch.
Annually in June we host a “Wings and Wheels” open day where a variety of vintage, classic, sports and touring motor vehicles and aircraft and their owners get to mix and mingle and display their pride and joy.
