Membership

The clubhouse is open to all members at anytime except when a specific function is under way. Full members are entitled to a clubhouse key after payment of the deposit and signing the key register.

Use of the Kitchen and Bathroom facilities is available to all but all members and guests are requested to ensure everything is left in a clean and tidy state and dishes and utensils are washed, dried and put away before they leave the premises.

Tea and Coffee making as well as cooking facilities are available for use at any time. Soft Drinks and water are available at marked prices from the fridge.

Weekly Wednesday Sausage Sizzle
Each week on a Wednesday lunch we have a sausage sizzle for club members and who ever may be at the airfield. We are encouraging members to enjoy a sausage sandwich and a chat.

Regular Fly-aways
The Club is supporting an initiative of regular fly-aways. Currently bi monthly with alternate months a BBQ/ social evening. These are notified in the Calendar.

Membership

What does it cost to become a member?

There are three types of membership. Full Membership - available to qualified Pilots, Student members, available for Student pilots and Social members to anyone else. Fees are currently $50.00, $25.00 and $20.00 accordingly.

Where and when are meetings held?

Monthly Committee meetings of the Aero club 2nd Tuesday of the month, however, this is confirmed by club email as changes to this can occasionally occur. Other social events posted in the Calendar and emailed to members.

do I have to attend all meetings AS A MEMBER?

Members are not required to attend the monthly Committee meetings, however the Committee encourages positive participation and contribution to the Club’s activities and social life. We encourage all members to participate in our social events, and pilots in our Fly away days. There are weekly social dancing nights held Wednesdays and Thursday nights, if you are interested, please come along and chat to our friendly participants.

How do I become a member?

Membership of the Aero Club is by invitation and completion of the application form found on the members page. See Aero Club Membership form above under the heading Members area.
